The smart contract for Ally was recently audited by Hacken, a leading security consulting company with an essential focus on blockchain security.
Referred to us by several members of the blockchain community, Hacken has an impeccable reputation working with other top-level projects.
Ally’s Smart Contract Audit
A smart contract audit is done to make sure the code is done correctly and to see if there are any vulnerabilities or flaws.
Hacken provides a report indicating any flaws that need to be fixed, and provides an overall score for the smart contract.
How Did Ally Score in the Audit?
Blockchain projects aim for a “well-secured” score on these audits to prove a smart contract is done well. The goal of our audit is to build trust with our audience, and to build a rapport with those that are familiar with blockchain.
Ally received a “well-secured” rating in our smart contract audit! This means that the Hacken team performed an analysis of code functionality, manual audit, and automated checks with Mythril and Slither and found no major errors.
Any issues found during automated analysis were manually reviewed, and important vulnerabilities were reported to us. The only issues presented were informational – the lowest risk level in the audit process. These types of issues are described by Hacken as, “Lowest-level vulnerabilities, code style violations, and info statements can’t affect smart contract execution and can be ignored.”
Of course we didn’t ignore anything. Ally always strives for an error-free execution of any project, and we addressed the informational issues and resolved them.
